My name is Rik and I love exploring, making, and sharing! I have developed the Picroscope: a low-cost, DIY, RPi-powered microscope for all ages. I have also built the Edison Head Impact System: a concussion-detection system for youth football teams.
My name is Ritik Patnaik, aka Rik. I am 16-years-old and I attend the Texas Academy of Math and Science. I got interested in the maker culture through my endeavors in science fair. In the 8th Grade, I found out that my interest in making cost-effective solutions to today's engineering problems reflected the spirit of the maker culture. Since then, I have been able to explore a variety of areas in the maker culture, make new and innovative devices for various problems, and share my solutions to the world with the help of online platforms, maker faires, science fairs, and even developer forums!
